In March of 2021, I was lucky enough to have visited the Toucan Rescue Ranch*, a 501(c)3 charitable organization (United States EIN: 80-0516453) with a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and release Costa Rican wildlife.  The Toucan Rescue Ranch works closely with the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica (MINAE) who rescues wildlife and brings them to their facility.  These highly trained professionals go to great lengths to save animals from across the nation and simultaneously provide educational access to children & adults alike.

Speaking of educational access - The Toucan Rescue Ranch offers an interactive virtual experience for classrooms! This LIVE virtual tour with ZOOM is designed for all grade levels.  Students will have the opportunity to see many of the animals they rescue including baby sloths, monkeys, otter, owls, toucans, and more.

If you love nature & are traveling to Costa Rica, this is a must-visit site.  Contact me for more information on the Toucan Rescue Ranch!
